Canon 5D: From Beginner to Obsessed

I have an exceptionally strong sentimental bond with the Canon 5D series. If we go back to 2005, the first ever 5D generated a new change in the entire market at that specific time. This was a ‘Full-Frame DSLR,’ the kind that serious photographers had hitherto reserved for- at this price, lover could now afford. That is where my journey started from and I continued to grow while achieving greater and greater success at my job.

Then I was a beginner to this exciting and challenging world  Aperture? Shutter speed! ISO… Those words were meaningless to me. Imagine my surprise then, the 5D was bulky with a large hand grip, and its build was really solid and this gave me a lot of confidence when using the camera. A peculiarity of the new viewfinder that is at least 50% larger and significantly brighter compared to the previous models was a revelation. Abruptly, the world I wanted to portray seemed to be within reach or, at least, real in a theatrical sense.

Actually, there were disappointments in their work. Autofocus was not as responsive as in recent camera models and the low light performance was average. But the image quality?Pure magic. The photos were so deep, so rich in content as if I’ve never seen photos like this before. Moved as if the camera were making the world look like I truly did see it; even the emotions.

For the sake of the 5D the machine of learning was launched The passion grew bigger and stronger I started searching for the tutorials studying photography I changed lenses looking for the best for the 5D I overworked the camera. The absence of any electric assist given an warm relationship with cars as I had never experienced before; it felt like a fine musical instrument that one gets to know from the bottom of his/her heart. It was beneficial to me in every sense of the word because I learned something new with every click of the shutter button.

Oh yes, by today’s standard let alone the advanced 5D Mark III, the original 5D may be slow or heavy. Still the essence – the sensation of power Depend on observational triumph accessible by any socially specific meaning- pearls of fleeting existence – this passion has not aged out.

Here’s the thing about the 5D series, even the older models: yes, basically they are great cameras to start using. While they don’t provide you with too many hand-holding features, they make you go through some lessons that will teach you a lot of things about photography. That values itself up in You, the camera, and more importantly, what you see through it.

And therefore, for you starting out, if you locate a good deal on a used 5D or later model, go ahead and grab it! It won’t have the newest features of what is newly out in the market today but I tell you, it will let you learn more about photography than what the newest gadget can provide. If you really love learning the craft and the art of photography ᅳ then you better get ready to fall in love with the process and perhaps even with the camera as well.
